I have been working with astrology for 15 years.   When given the necessary details (time and location of birth), I often refer to natal astrological charts and their transits as part of my assessment in a health consultation.  I have incorporated some of the tools of the ancient art of Medical Astrology into my private practice over the past 7 years. 

When viewing health from a holistic perspective, astrology can play a helpful role in seeing particular patterns that may show up physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Reflecting these patterns back to you can often bring a helpful perspective that offers acknowledgement and validation as wells as insight and encouragement that can fuel your forward movement through challenging situations (both health specific and more generally in your life).

The astrological chart is a "rabbit hole" of sorts, where much can be gleaned, the more time and focus given to it.  For this reason, I am now offering separate astrology sessions for those interested in diving a little deeper into their charts, beyond what can be covered in a regular herbal health consultation.

Astrology Consultation

A 2 hour consultation, online or in person, where we will explore your astrological chart, how it relates to any questions you might have at the time of our consultation, current and upcoming transits, and suggestions for ways to address opportunities and challenges that would work well alongside the planetary influences you have.  We'll look at your chart via the wonderful tools offered by the website astro.com, using the Whole Signs house system within a geocentric, tropical model, with a basis on traditional Western medical astrology, and with influences from archetypal astrology.  This means that we'll look at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual influences affecting your experience of your life both internally (within your body and mind/emotions), and externally in your environment.  Addressing health issues on all of these levels provides a truly holistic approach to healing that can help to inspire and fuel dynamic changes.
